Today you will walk on the 98- acres of Tiananmen Square. We will then visit the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) and its palace museums. First built in the 15th century, the Imperial Palace was the residence of the emperors of the Ming and Quing Dynasties. (B,L,D)

Day 4: You Pick the Dates

Today we will visit the Olympic Village, and have a photo shoot with the Bird Nest Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic center. We will then take you to the Great Wall of China, which was first built during the 5th century BC and meanders across the earth for 3,700 miles. Over 300,000 people labored more than 30 years to accomplish the task. This afternoon you will visit the Underground Palace, and underground tomb of one of the Ming Emperors, and the Sacred Way of the Animals, which guards the tomb. Tonight enjoy the brilliant Martial Arts Kung Fu spectacular. (B/L/D)

Morning is a time for contemplation and for exercise. You will visit China's most photographed building this morning, the Temple of Heaven, where you can join the Chinese people in their morning exercise.
