Walk in the footsteps of the early Saints as you visit Palmyra, Susquehanna, Kirtland, and Hiram—places where revelation flowed, faith was tested, and miracles unfolded. Gain new insights into the life of the young prophet, the struggles and triumphs of the early Church, and the sacred events that shaped its foundation.

If a participant needs to cancel their reservation, written notice must be provided. Cancellations within seven calendar days of booking (if not past the final payment date) will receive a full refund, excluding airfares, which follow the airline’s policy. Cancellations after the seven-day grace period incur a 50% penalty on the deposit until the final payment date, and cancellations after the final payment date are non-refundable, including for unused portions of the tour.

**Please note, due to the nature of this tour, participants must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace. Expect to walk an average of 2–3 miles per day. The itinerary is full and active, with touring scheduled from breakfast until dinnertime. Free time is generally available only in the evenings.

We depart our home cities this morning and arrive at the Rochester, NY Airport. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel, where we’ll enjoy dinner together and get acquainted as we look forward to the inspiring journey ahead.

Susquehanna, PA - Palmyra

Today, we travel to Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, to visit the Priesthood Restoration Site—a location of spiritual significance. Our visit includes the new Visitor’s Center and meetinghouse, as well as the reconstructed homes of Joseph and Emma Smith and Isaac and Elizabeth Hale. We’ll walk through the wooded area where John the Baptist appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery, restoring the Aaronic Priesthood. We’ll also visit the Susquehanna River, the sacred site where Joseph and Oliver were baptized.

Palmyra - Fayette

This morning, we begin our day with a visit to the Sacred Grove, where we’ll take time to reflect on the profound events that took place here. We’ll then tour the restored Joseph Smith Sr. home and farm, including the log cabin where the Angel Moroni first appeared to young Joseph.

After lunch, we continue to the Hill Cumorah and Visitor’s Center, followed by a visit to Fayette, NY, where we’ll explore the Peter Whitmer Farm—the site where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was officially organized on April 6, 1830.

Niagara Falls/Kirtland

This morning, we head to Niagara Falls, America’s oldest state park. We will board the Maid of the Mist, which takes us directly in front of the American Falls before entering the Horseshoe Basin at the base of the Canadian Falls. This is always a very memorable experience!

Afterward, we continue on to Kirtland, Ohio. Upon arrival, we will tour Historic Kirtland, including the Kirtland Visitors’ Center, the Whitney Home and Store, and the Ashery and Sawmill.

Hiram - Amish Country

Today we travel to Mantua Corners to visit the Methodist Church where Sidney Rigdon once preached. From there, we continue on to Hiram, Ohio, and visit the John Johnson Farm. It was here that Joseph Smith completed the new translation of the Bible (D&C 1; 67–69; 133), received the vision of the three degrees of glory (D&C 76; 88; 93), and was tarred and feathered by a local, minister-led mob (D&C 84).

Next, we visit the Amish town of Mesopotamia, Ohio, including a stop at The General Commons Amish Store. The day concludes with dinner at an Amish restaurant.

Kirtland/Cleveland Airport/Home

Early this morning we begin with a visit to the Morley Farm and then spend time at the Kirtland Temple, the first temple built in the latter days. Here, we remember the sacred events where the Lord, Jesus Christ appeared, along with heavenly messengers such as Moses, Elias, Elijah, and numerous other angels. Then we tour the newly restored Joseph Smith Home. 

After our picnic lunch at the stone quarry, we make our way to the airport for our flight home, carrying with us not just photos and memories, but a deeper appreciation for the life and mission of the Prophet Joseph Smith, the faith of the early Saints, and the restoration of the church.
